Is this a law firm?
No. The platform provides technology, educational resources, organization tools and, where available, document-preparation technology based on approved templates. It does not provide legal representation.
Does LegacyGuide AI give legal advice?
No. LegacyGuide AI provides general educational information and organizational assistance. It will tell you plainly when a question calls for a licensed attorney.
Can AI create my will?
Where document preparation is offered, your information populates approved, state-specific templates. The AI does not independently invent legal language or clauses.
Should I talk to an attorney?
Some situations require or benefit from personalized legal advice — large or blended estates, business ownership, special-needs beneficiaries, tax concerns, or out-of-state property. We encourage consulting a qualified attorney when appropriate.
Can I save my progress?
Yes. You can save, exit, and return at any time.
Is my information private?
Your information is available only through your authenticated account. Files are stored privately with encryption in transit, access is role-limited, and sensitive entries are not surfaced in general admin views.
Can I update my information later?
Yes. Your legacy profile is meant to be revisited whenever life changes.
Can my family access my information?
Only through user-controlled features and permissions that you set up and can revoke. Entering someone's email address alone never grants them access.
Does entering a beneficiary here change my insurance or financial accounts?
No. This organizer records what you believe is currently designated. It does not change beneficiary designations with financial institutions or insurance companies.
Does entering an executor or guardian legally appoint that person?
No. Recording someone in your profile is an organizational note only and does not create a legal appointment.
